Early Life and College Career

Derrick Henry was born in Yulee, Florida, in 1994. He began playing football at an early age, and quickly became one of the top recruits in the country. He committed to play college football at the University of Alabama, where he played for three seasons. During his time at Alabama, Henry rushed for over 2,200 yards and 28 touchdowns, and was named a consensus All-American. He also won the Heisman Trophy in 2015, becoming the second player in Alabama history to win the award.

NFL Career

Henry was drafted by the Tennessee Titans with the 45th overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He quickly became a key member of the Titans' offense, and has rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his first four seasons in the NFL. In 2019, Henry had a breakout season, rushing for 1,540 yards and 16 touchdowns. He was named to the Pro Bowl and was voted the NFL Offensive Player of the Year.

Henry continued to be a dominant force in the NFL in 2020, rushing for 2,027 yards and 17 touchdowns. He led the NFL in both categories, and was named to the Pro Bowl and was voted the NFL Offensive Player of the Year again. Henry's 2,027 rushing yards were the most by any player in the NFL since 2012.

Derrick Henry is one of the most dominant running backs in the NFL today. He is a powerful runner with a unique combination of size, speed, and agility. He is also a very durable player, having never missed a game due to injury. In just six seasons in the NFL, Henry has already rushed for over 6,500 yards and 69 touchdowns.
